Here’s three little thoughts that I can relate to at the moment…
My favorite day of the week is Thursdays because I get to spend an hour torturing my favorite training partners (and myself) with VO2max set. I usually find myself in a very happy-go-lucky mood all day long.
Second, at the moment world has gone a little coco-bananas so reminding myself to inhale the good shit and exhale the bullshit is a pretty good motto to live by.
I think the answer is, plain and simple, exercise. I have a ruminating mind and a f****er on my shoulder telling me that I am no good. But when I am moving my body – whether in running shoes, or on two wheels, or struggling to catch my breath before my head goes back underwater, or pushing that bar with ever more kilos, or whatever – my inner self is moving with it. Funny how I can think about something then and not let it get to me, that would otherwise bring me down.
Ever so bananas world at the mo, yes. But this being a US forum, I guess polarising politics should be left aside and focus be on what unites those of us here instead.
