Awesome thread over the last day and really good use of the AI coach!

In lieu of the workout wizard I’ve used the AI Coach to suggest cross training workouts on days where it’s not safe to run outdoors. It’s been a fine substitute. And it’s been helpful in fitting in, and planning around, non plan activities like team sports. In general I’ve found it to be a good temporary fill in for some of the features that aren’t yet back.

I also started asking and relying on the AI Coach more often, especially if I am feeling a little sick or had a bad night. The suggestions were always spot on or really good, but what I am missing here is, that the AI Coach, on request, adopts my training plan.

For example today, I would have a “key session” and I really had a bad night, and yesterday was overall miserable day. I told the AI coach the information, and it agreed, but also told me it is unable to change the sessions in the calendar.

I would like to see this feature, like I am used from AI Coding or AI Writing systems

We understand many would love to have AI Coach make the changes for them. We keep evaluating this but at the moment we have chosen to leave the last say to the human in the loop.

I am not saying the AI Coach should just make all changes on its own, but if I am already in a conversation with it, and based on my questions and feedback from the coach we came to the conclusion to adopt the trainings plan, it would be great to execute on it.

Not letting me edit upcoming sessions manually, which are than locked and cannot be changed by the system etc.

So, the human would stay in control, but the AI would execute.

One thing I like about the AI Coach, and yes @herbert is right it would be an amazing feature that I’m sure is being looked at - is the ability not to just swap a session for another one but actually plan the day out differently.

For example, I had a 1.5hour aerobic run planned today, however my legs are feeling it a little from a double run day of 20 miles yesterday. So I asked the coach if I could swap the run for separate bike and run sessions - It gave me a full rundown of lengths and efforts to do this and the benefits. You wouldn’t get that from the workout wizard.
