Download upcoming session / fit. file

Hello

This is a real beginner question. I started train MTB XC in May this year and made my first race about 2 weeks ago, a 90 km (lots of gravel) race in Sweden. After that i understood that i need to train diffrent and more. I found Atheltica straight after the race and so far it’s fantastic. I have a bikecomputer Sigma Rox 11 and, HR band, and cadence and soon watt pedels.

The question is: Is there any way to download upcoming session to fit. file. I understand that previous session I have complete, I can download to fit. file.
For me it’s hard to remember the session especially “Short HIIT” and “strenght and endurance” with all the diffrent zones and time.

Do I need a new bikecomputer ? How do you all train when you ride a bike outside with upcoming sessions.

Hi Lars,

First off, congratulations on finishing the 90k race in Sweden! What’s next for you?

To download the .fit file, open the workout and click More in the upper right hand corner. The .fit file is the first option.

I have a Garmin 840 and the workouts appear on the screen once I link Garmin to Athletica. I also use intervals.icu to connect.

Honestly, though, I just look at the workout before I leave the house and know what I need to do. In the beginning, I taped a sticky note with the workout on my bars to remember them!

Hello again. Next race is just for fun a 38 km, more lika real MTB XC. My big goal is to be in good shape for next year and race a lot of long XC races.
I couldn´t find the fit file. When i right click in the workout i only get ZWO, MRC, ERG file (see the picture). Ofcourse I can try to remember the workout but for me how isn’t used to train in this way of endurance traning, I really want to “stick to the plan” and do it 100%.

I think the piece that you are missing is Intervals.icu. (you can create a free account if you don’t have one already). If you connect your Athletica to Intervals.icu, you should be able to send the fit file from Intervals to your Sigma Rox computer…

Came here to say this @wroomlars! Intervals.ICU is perfect, Athletica → Intervals → Sigma, then it’s just on your device! I used to have to download the .fit file, but it’s much nicer now with the Intervals connection. I pay a donation for Intervals to thank the devs, but it’s actually just free.99! Let us know how it turns out.
