Generate a new plan with max hours set

My training hours was set to “let Athletica decide” and its been working well up to now, with a max of around 18 hours for my biggest week thus far which is manageable, but as things ramp up these hours are creeping up and its not possible for me to devote more than 18 hours a week max, I’m happy to continue doing 18 hours max for my biggest weeks.

So I adjusted my plan and set it to “I’ll set my hours” and set max hours 18 hours, thinking it would continue giving me with my current plan but limit max hours to 18 hour weeks. But the new plan has dropped me back to 10 hours per week for the next couple of weeks then ramps up slowly to 15 hours max in coming weeks, I can’t see a week anywhere near 18 hours. Looking at the the Overview → Performance potential, it shows a decline of my fitness from current levels for the next couple of months, I was hoping to continue the build not a decline.

How can I adjust my plan to have a max of 18 hours, using those 18 hours in my biggest weeks, also not to have these easy weeks for the next few weeks. I did try and bump the hours up to 22 hours max but it hasn’t redone my plan.

Thanks.

I reverted back to “let Athletica decide” and changed ramp rate to “Conservative” and it seems to be closer to the mark, a few weeks of 18+ hours later in the program but I can look at dropping an hour or two to suit my availability.

One other question, does Athletica take age into consideration when developing a plan?

You could leave it at “Let Athletica decide” but limit the max to 18, through setting availability limits per day. For example, Tue to Sunday to set a max 3 hours each with Monday as rest day?

In theory that should work.

Thanks for the suggestion, I’ll have a play around with the daily limits and see what it produces. I will use similar hours per day to what was scheduled for an 18 hour week.
