I used Athletica to take me from not being able to run a mile to completing my first Ironman in under a year.
Anyways in my offseason and I’m thinking about the new year and hoping to include some IM into my swimming ( I am one of those weird people that enjoy IM) has anyone done this? Does it screw up you swim zones/critical swim speed/ etc? Was thinking I would trade it out for Zone 4 in SE work outs, is that best application? Thanks!

You must be a swimmer if considering doing IM (individual medley) in your swim sets
I throw in some back/breast when I have z2 or recovery intervals, just to mix it up a bit. I don’t use the auto threshold detection but if you do, it might reduce your CSS and zones as non-free strokes are typically done at a slower pace.

Yes yes! Swimmer I am, that’s a good idea I did not think of is manually setting zones or dismissing changes.
