just a question:
Can I do tests from test week during a normal training plan?
I asked the AI-Coach, who/which told me that I can do this by either using workout wizard or add a training session.
I tried this - but neither in the Workout Wizard nor in creating a new training session I could find the Workouts from the test week.
Does any RI have a hint how to do this?
You can save those workouts into your own personal library. Go to the test workout you completed, click on the three dots, then choose âsave to libraryâ. Then you can add them into your plan whenever you wantâŚ.
I donât think the test gets treated in some special manner. Itâs just e.g. an all out 5k which the system reads and uses to generate points for the power and pace charts and to fit the theoretical models to. You could just run a 5k and it will provide the same info.
But yes â best thing to do is to generate a new plan, save them into your library and plonk them down for when you feel like updating your data cleanly.
Thanks - I could find them in the old UI Library and downloaded the .zwo Files for further use.
Still, I do not know how to get the AI to process them if I integrate them into my current training plan.
The reason I do not want to create a new plan: I am in the Middle of a cycle for a race in March - and I do not want to mess up build/recovery/taper Phases by creating a new plan.
Thanks a lot for all of your suggestions - they led me to the mandalorian âThis is the wayââŚ.
As far as my understanding goes the AI does not treat these test workouts any differently to anything else you log.
So you can just perform the tests (with or without a structured workout) and Athletica will just interpret your performance and adjust your thresholds accordingly.
You can do a test session at any time. Simply save one from your own or global library if you have not saved one into yours.
The system doesnât treat test week any different. Itâs looking at the day to day data and if it detects a true hard effort it checks against previously completed sessions. So since you donât want to create an entire test week, I would strategically pick your tests and replace any hard session in your current plan. Make sure you have enough recovery after.
