I am starting to get double run days populated in my training plan. A recovery short session but then also on the same day a regular aerobic session (screenshot below). I’m not sure if this is because at times I need to split a workout between morning and afternoon and now that is confusing the system or what is going on. And, can I pile on to previous requests for the system to allow merging multiple workouts of the same modality in the same day to meet the prescribed training for the day!
If you are training for any longer distance runs then I wouldn’t be surprised at seeing double run days - it is quite common. I have just switched to a marathon training plan and I have 2 or 3 a week. It helps build mileage up without putting massive strain on your body (if you get to recover between sessions)
