Description:
When uploading a multisport activity (e.g. triathlon or a bike/run brick), the last segment of the activity incorrectly displays the total distance of the entire activity instead of the distance covered in that specific segment.
Steps to reproduce:
- Record a multisport activity with multiple segments (e.g. swim → bike → run, or bike → run) using a Garmin Fenix 8.
- Activity syncs to Athletica.ai via Garmin Connect (also connected via Strava).
- Open the activity in Athletica.ai and check the distance shown for the last segment.
Expected behavior:
Each segment should display its own individual distance (e.g. the run segment should show only the run distance).
Actual behavior:
The last segment shows the combined/total distance of the whole multisport activity instead of just that segment’s distance.
Example:
On July 12, 2026, I completed a triathlon with a total distance of ~50 km. The run segment (“Laufen”) was actually 10 km, but Athletica.ai displayed it with a distance of 50.4 km — matching the total activity distance instead of just the run leg. Duration (57:19), Load (88), and other stats for this segment appear correct; only the distance value is wrong.
Additional info:
- Activity type(s) affected: Triathlon, Bike/Run (brick workouts)
- Device: Garmin Fenix 8
- Connected integrations: Garmin Connect + Strava
- This seems to only affect the last segment; earlier segments display correctly.
