Glad I could help! Good luck and don’t be afraid to experiment with “your” training plan. As individuals, we all respond differently to stimulus so you have to find what works best for you.
Hey,
We love giving some love to our athletes on socials
if you want us to give you a shoutout on your race, please fill out this Google Sheet
Thanks, MJ
apologies, google sheet was view only- should be fixed now ![]()
The Cal Tri races partnership with Athletica is what turned me on to this platform, so of course I am doing a Cal Tri Race!
4/27 - Cal Tri Culpeper Olympic Tri
5/11 - Tour of Battenkill (Fondo)
9/27 - Waterman’s 70.3
I am looking for at least one more race to tune up before my 70.3 in September.
Wohoo! CalTri athlete! Superb! Nice to hear from you. Would you mind inserting your races in the Google sheet for me please? ![]()

My wife and I will also join in Marbella, she has just qualified yesterday in Texas ![]()
‘A’ race for me is IM Chattanooga late Sept.
I have also planned USAT Nationals in August (Olympic and Sprint), World Triathlon in Wollongong (Olympic) in October
My 2025:
Blenheim Palace Sprint Tri, June
Manchester to Blackpool 100km bike ride, July
Warrington Half Marathon, September.
Then aiming high and planning my first 70.3 (Zell am See) for 2026 - which Athletica has given me the confidence to do!

Hey ![]()
Is anyone else doing 70.3 Calgary at the end of June?
Let’s meet up!

Thought I would bring this thread back to life as my A goal race is now done!
I’m absolutely blown away by the results I’ve had by consistently following Athletica since the back end of last year!
This is my second season having a go at triathlon and yesterday was my first 70.3. I went 4:41:10 running 1:28:24 off the bike which would also be an open half marathon PB!
For context I ran 1:36:45 in an open half last October just before signing up to Athletica. Unbelievable results in just 6 months!
Congratulations!

Amazing results to get what would be an open half PB at the end of a tough 70.3! Sounds like the training really worked for you and very impressive.
We love hearing that @Adam … many congrats ![]()
