When can I expect my training zones to be updated?

Hi Team,

Enjoying my journey with you so far, however I missing some adjustments which I thought would happen sooner regarding my training zones. E.g. Im regularly putting in a way higher wattage while remaining a slow bpm, but my zones still don’t really display this progress, leading to too light suggested workouts. I give you an example:

  • During my last bike workout (Jan 12), I did an average of 194w at an average of heart rate of 125bpm

  • For the first 10 minutes, my heart rate never went above 131bpm and remained in the 120is for most of the time, however the graph states the detected power to be a z5 output which is odd, giving the low heart rate?

For today’s workout my plan is suggesting a Short HIIT 30"/30" interval ride which is supposed to enhance my maximal oxygen uptake (VO2 max). However if I did this workout as prescribed, I would only do a max of 203w for 30 seconds which wouldn’t even bring me close to higher zones above pVO2max. I also really want to start using ERG mode, as I’m using the Zwift cog, but with the described wattage, I’m far away from being able to.

When can I expect the zones to be updated?

I also have a similar issues for my swim workout, where the described speed is very very slow (2:11-2:31/100m) compared to average of 1:40m at 120bpm I’m doing. I don’t even know how to swim as slow as 2:11/100m. Aren’t the zones supposed to be updated towards my output and activities at some point?
