Coros Integration Released

We’ve made a quiet new release to our beta group that allows Coros users to connect directly to Athletica. Please go to settings => connections => Coros to sync

Functionality that needs testing includes:

  • Receiving workouts
  • Pushing workouts to Coros (can be done manually, or automatically like Garmin, Wahoo etc. in connection settings)
  • Receiving daily summary information (including HRV)

Coros users not on beta reading this and would like to test, please get in touch.

Thanks as always.

Thanks @tzk. I’ve enabled and I can see it on your account now. Sync via Settings=>Connections=>Coros.
Please let us know how it goes.

thanks to this integration release :raising_hands: and funny to see the screenshot from my profile  I guess the real time workout reserve is not available yet, but soon will be added as well.

Hi @Tobi … so sorry about the screenshot. I accidentally grabbed the wrong one and didn’t notice until you pointed it out to me. That has been replaced now with mine.

Can you please provide us with feedback on the integration when you can. Is it working in terms of 1) automatically inputing your sessions into Athletica, 2) pushing your workout to Coros device from Athletica, and 3) inputting HRV into your Recovery Profile if you wear your watch when you sleep?

I had no issue with the screenshot being used.

  1. so far the workouts have been pushed to Athletica, but I guess due to the connection with Strava
  2. workouts have not been pushed to Coros yet, but I disconnected intervals.icu now as that might have been interfering.
  3. HRV has also been pushed to the Recovery profile since my intervals.icu connection, which as mentioned above I now disconnected.

I’ll see tomorrow if the coros connection is gonna work.

Thanks @Tobi  Look forward to your report.

Update to the coros integration:

  • so far Athletica does not push the workouts onto coros
  • since getting rid off the intervals.icu connection and just having the coros integration, the hrv is not pushed to athletica and I don’t see the recovery profile no more

I want to check to see how the beta works so far, but I can’t sync or push anything to COROS as my plan seems to be bugged stuck the spinning loading sign still. If I click push to COROS, it says data is being processed and the action cannot be complete. Don’t mean to bother, just showing what it says to help fix any bugs.

Hi @rpirro55 we just pushed some changes based on @Tobi 's feedback and that might have corresponded with the spinning icon. I’m on your profile and everything looks settled (green tick). Can you both please try again?

Loading icon is gone, but I’m checking on desktop version using mobile not sure if that makes a difference. I tried clicking training plan under settings as well as tried pushing a workout to COROS and both times it still did not work for either. Pushing gave me this error message. Clicking training under settings gave me this message too. Hope this helps.

appreciate the quick turn-around on the feedback @rpirro55 … checking

Issue fixed! spinning icon is done.

Thanks @rpirro55 … please check Coros functionality now that the first bug is cleared. We can see workouts have been synced to Coros and appear under a ‘Athletica Training Plan’ in the Coros UI. We’re not seeing valid HRV data coming in from Coros at this stage so testing there for us would also be appreciated.

should I disconnect atheltica from strava for the time being while testing?

that’s a good idea @rpirro55

Also now disconnected from Strava for the time being.

I can see under the connections that the last activity on coros was yesterday at 8:46pm.

  • No changes yet when it comes to pushing workouts from athletica to coros and pushing hrv from coros to athletica

Currenlty testing it out a bit. It is sending swim workouts to coros in weird formats that don’t align with what Athletica prescribes. It cannot send yoga/recovery sessions to coros for me saying they are not supported. I know coros has regular strength and cardio modes so I wonder if it can be sent to coros under that option. I logged my walk as a hike today on accident and it seems that the imported activity from strava ( I have since turned off strava but this was before I turned it off), does not sync to a walk so I cannot pair the workouts. I haven’t been able to see if HRV data is being imported from coros yet. I will follow this message up with some screenshots showing what it shows me on coros desktop training hub UI as well as the app UI. Tried manually entering data for the walk but getting an error message saying, need 4 values, and it tells me I only entered 1, I double checked and could not tell what the error was referring to.
