Coros Integration Released

Hello.
All works quite well, but there are some minor hiccups when syncing the plan to training hub :

  • some workouts have a huge training load completely out of proportion (see picture), eg the HIIT Short (hills) & MIT (in this case the 1.45 rest interval, instead of having “not set” or recovery pace comes up with a supersonic pace betweetn 1.45 and 0 )- so the TL in the calendar is messed up (in coros); there is a way to edit these workouts (in the plan view) but it would be best if this was corrected.

  • it would also be nice if the workout steps were thourogly listed in the workout description ( so it isnt’t necessary to”study” the workout in the calendar or app).

  • It would be also nice if you implement the use of effort pace (a metric developed by Coros for uphill training).

No other complain for now ! Just trying to try the plan. Cheers.

It would be nice also that warmups were Open rather than time fixed. “Slow jog or walk recoveries” targets are set at paces in zone 1 to middle of zone 2 which is unrealistic. Better set them as open target.

What I do is to save the Athletica workout to my library and then I am able to modify it.

Agree. I also modify it but would be even better if both pace and time was open.

Recovery status unavailable using a Coros watch. I got this answer from AI coach:

  • Coros Watch overnight records are NOT valid for Athletica’s automated recovery status.

Is there any plan to tackle this?

Have you tried Intervals.icu as a mediator? It helps in many cases. I used it with Coros and it worked fine. After connecting you don’t have to do anything.
I actually don’t like sleeping with a watch. Now I just manually type in my sleep metrics in Intervals and it transfers to Athletica. Not perfect but it is a solution.

That’s precisely what I am doing. Yet it doesn’t serve to Athletica as data for calculating recovery status. Ai coach said this:

  1. Manual Entries Not Sufficient:
Even if you see your wellness data in intervals.icu, manual entries do not sync as “overnight” physiological data into Athletica’s recovery engine. Athletica requires the device-generated, timestamped, overnight trend data to create meaningful recovery insights.

  2. Your current approach (manual wellness data → intervals.icu → Athletica) won’t activate Athletica’s automated recovery status. For recovery metrics, switch to device-based overnight recordings with a compatible Garmin if you want those features to work.

I see my HRV and RHR in Athletica recovery insight over time and this is good enough for me. But I understand your position. You want more from the system. I hope it will develop towards better integration.

Hello @Jose-Manuel

Intervals.icu is pulling Health data, and so is Coros. You may have to reconfigure your coros connection.
AI Coach is hallucinating. Thanks for your email regarding this - our team is on it.
