Swim workouts don't upload pace correctly from Garmin connect

Swim workouts don’t upload pace correctly. The entire workout is recorded as L1 pace in the analysis. Unfortunately, as new user I can only imbedded one image, but pace is recording correctly in Connect. This occurs for every swim session and prevents my pace from adjusting.

It seems to be an ongoing issue, unfortunately. It is taking your pace from the total time of the workout, not the moving time, as Athletica doesn’t seem to import the moving time correctly.
Check your watch/garmin moving time and change the Athletica moving time to it, this ensures your load will be calculated correctly.

The moving time seems to be uploading fine. The load also seems correct. The AI, however, tells me I’m not hitting the planned zones when in fact I’m exceeding the current zone paces. Is there a way to get the paces to adjust? They’re off by about 1 min/100, so that’s really throwing off analysis.

I’ve a similar problem too:

Zones in the Times Chart seems to be way off.. Moreover the Session Chart keeps fetching data forever..

Thanks

I’ve been having the same issues! It can be quite frustrating as my pace is recording as a whole minute/100m slower than it actually is.

My program’s been telling me my swimming fitness is too low for the plan too, but I doubt this, as I’ve been a swimmer my whole life. Hopefully it get’s resolved soon!

Thanks all… we’re working on this improvement and this thread is one of many we’re monitoring to improve the UX here.

All my swim workouts from my Garmin are not uploaded correctly. It’s throwing off all my AI Coach recommendations…

It’s the same with me. AI is interpreting all my swim efforts as Z1 pace and a load that’s much higher than planned . So, AI assumes I’m extremely slow and struggling. This keeps my planned swim pace very low resulting in workouts that are being completed in half the expected time. I had one workout last week where my actual swim time was just over 18 minutes, and the planned workout was for almost 40 minutes. So, I’m continually making additions to the planned session to keep up my fitness. Sort of defeats any progressive adaptive training for the swim. Hopefully, the issue is resolved soon.
