2 questions from my Athlete on Athletica

Hi guys, as some know, I am an Endurance coach and I propose Athletica to my athletes that I follow by changing some training through workout Wizard.
The questions as they continually ask me are
1 why is Vo2 max Bike workout done after the 2/3 hours of STRENGHT Low cadence workout (they have heavy legs the next day and in any case at cardiac level you work at moderate intensity)
2 why the Gym Sessions occupy a very good period (Base) that only appears to those who plan a race almost a year away otherwise there is only PLYO (which does not include Maximum Strength, No Total Body, No Resistant Strength and Core).
I try to mediate and often I do not have these sessions performed because they are actually demanding and you do not always have brilliant legs to perform them.
