Assigning Modality Distributions Issue

I just finished my R2R2R training (and event!) and that went well!

Right now I’m trying to assign my Chattanooga Ironman training modality percentages and it won’t let me exclude Strength and Conditioning. I want to have Swimming at 12%, Biking at 46% and Running at 42% but when I do that, it won’t work. (Only doing 12% swimming because Chattanooga is a downstream swim and I did a 48 min swim in 2023 with only 13,000 yards of training as was my Leadville 100 training year)

But anyway, it basically says I have to have S&C.

I enabled the S&C category (and the rowing) and moved them to 0% but it won’t save. I have also unclicked it and it has a grey bar thats in the middle but that won’t work either.

In my humble opinion those weekly S&C are super beneficial for your next race, but I get it it’s not always the most exciting type of workout.

If you absolutely don’t want to do any S&C work, simply delete them from your plan. I would add some work uphill&downhill work on foot to get some sports specific work done instead. Maybe you could add an hour of hilly strength endurance type of training per week if you delete strength work.?

I don’t know your age but I really think spending an hour per week to work on strength not only benefits your performance but also health as you age :wink:
