I just started a cycling plan as I’ve been doing my own thing for several months. Today I had a 67’ endurance ride scheduled with a load of 54. I did not see a row as a modality option in the Workout Wizard, but it was easy enough to figure out a rough equivalent. I ended up rowing for 60’ and generated a load of 57.
However, now the system has added duration (59’) and load (40) to most of my cycling workouts for next week. Is this what I should expect to happen if I do an equivalent workout on the rower? I did delete the planned cycling workout for today after uploading the row, not sure if that could have affected things.
I looked at this more closely. It looks like the week (mid-volume base week 2) was, and still is, a bit lower in total volume than the second and third iterations in my plan, so maybe the adjustments would have been made anyway. I still would like clarification on what happens when you substitute, however.
Will performing the planned workout in a different modality if not presented as an option trigger a recalculation resulting in an increase in overall volume in load over the course of the next week?
There was no rowing in your modality, so you decided to row and deleted the bike. I am not sure if that will automatically lead to more cycling load later on. @Prof ?
