Cycling Power Profile not updating

I have had this bug on at least 3 occasions (ironically one was the perscribed power profile test). Basically, I can see all the power data in the app and on Garmin. Garmin confirms that I have several new PB power times. Those times align with times viewable on the Cycling power profile. But the power displayed for those respective times are representative of old data. It isn’t that the profile takes a long time to update. It never updates. I think all the rides I have had the issue with have been rides where I was following a workout guide on my garmin edge 840, but I am not 100% sure.

It would be nice if as a backup I could manually enter points on the power profile chart. This is kind of a show stopper if the rides where I am actually trying to test my power limits are the rides where the profile doesn’t update.

sorry this is happening to you. Let’s try to get to the bottom of this. Could you please provide me with screenshots that clearly shows the discrepancies?

Sure, note that 10min and 30min also did not update on my power curve but I am not including them here to limit the number of posts.

Auto detected interval viewable in my August 7th session Atheltica chart

Garmin’s power curve numbers.

Happened again today on an unstructured ride (no garmin workout was running during activity recording). See screenshot for Athletica power data. According to Garmin my 10s power was 1278W, a new PB and therefore the profile should have updated. However, the profile still shows 1155W from last month.

So sorry that your clearly amazing and impressive PBs are completely ignored! You should be getting pats on the back, not cold shoulder! :smiley: I’ve reported this to the dev team. Hang tight as we investigate and thank you so much for flagging this :smiley:

Thanks, let me know if there are any short term solutions. My main issue is that the structured workout power targets are going down despite my fitness going up. I assume this is because my intial FTP test and some of my shorter efforts were 6+ weeks ago and are not being considered anymore or are being weighted less.

I really like the power profile chart itself with the models overlayed (useful for pacing efforts), but ultimately I would much rather have correct workouts than a correct chart.
