Had a five hour bike ride, but had two flat tires and ended up having to stop for a bit to fix them, and my cycling power profile updated my average watts to the watts including the stopped time rather than just the moving time.
I went in and updated the total time of the workout, taking out the stopped time which updated the workout, but the power profile never updated.
How do I update that?

Hi, @jbeech01 .. I hope your ride was enjoyable otherwise…
Sorry about that but there is no way to split the fit file in Athletica. You could try other tools to split the .fit file. FitFileTools.com – Section Remover Tool (No install, Free)
Best for: Quick fixes like removing a stopped section from a file.
Steps:
- Go to FitFileTools Remover.
- Upload the .fit file.
- Enter the start and end timestamps (or durations) for the section you want to remove (e.g., when the flat happened).
- Hit Download to get the cleaned file.
- Re-upload to Athletica
How to get timestamps?
- Look at the activity in Garmin Connect to find the rough time the stop happened.
- Estimate based on elapsed time (e.g., “stopped from 1:32:00 to 1:45:00”).
Hope this helps,
MJ

I took out the workout and tried to add it in manually but it just ignored that data and didn’t update the profile. Not sure why.
Also, when I use that tool and then upload, I get a message saying:
" Hi Jeff,
Your bulk upload of fitfiletools.fit is now complete.
- 0 files processed
- 0 files imported

that’s odd. Can you send me the .fit file in question? marjaana@athletica.ai
