How Can I get neuromuscular demands in Short and Long Interval Training?

I wonder how can I get neuromuscular demands with Short intervals, because I don’t understand why type 2 is aerobic and neuromuscular and type 4 is also aerobic, anaerobic and neuromuscular too. I don’t know how to reach this adaptations with Short intervals. Moreover, Long intervals are also included in type 4 but I don’t see the neuromuscular demands in Long intervals.
