I don’t wear my Garmin watch to sleep, I am seeing unusual high RHR in the charts.. I don’t know where it is getting the numbers?
My RHR per my Whoop is around 54 but the charts in Athletica show upwards of a 100..
Is there a way to manually upload these indicators each morning? How are these numbers used.. I am afraid I am getting plans that don’t fit my fitness level because of errors in the data?
@Prof Can you help me with this.. I don’t wear a garmin to bed.. I use a Whoop… I am ok manualling uploading but I don’t know how? I didn’t notice when signing up that I had to have a garmin to take advantage of the product?
Hi @bmccartan… most in this situation typically try connecting their Whoop to intervals.icu, and then sync intervals.icu to Athletica. Might you try that?
Ok.. @Prof I thought is was going ok.. but now I am seeing different data between Intervals.icu and Athletica, Athletica seems to show a substantially higher. RHR date (intervals.icu vs Athletica) on the 6/23 (55 vs 66) 6/24 (54 vs 69). HRV is importing correctly. Also everything seems to be a day delay.. not sure this is a big deal because we are looking at trends/averages, but I thought I would not it…. the data captured in Intervals on the 24th. Shows up as data for the 25th on the 26th…
Thanks @bmccartan … if you can please take a screenshot of both your intervals.icu data and your Athletica Recovery Profile data I will take that and investigate further. It could be a timestamp issue or it may be defaulting to your Garmin data but that can help us narrow down the issue.
This could be Garmin over writing the numbers.. I noticed my Garmin said my resting HR was 93… don’t know how it is getting this number because I only wear the watch for running..
I also adjusted my Garmin settings today so that it doesn’t send Daily Health stats to Athletica .. we will see if that helps?
That’s a great call @bmccartan on removing the Garmin access to the health data.
Also - just had another user disconnect and then reconnect their intervals.icu connection and that restored the HRV data coming in from their wearable (HealthFit).
Great call @bmccartan, I’ve been strugling with Garmin overwriting my intervals RHR for a while. (Apple watch → Healthfit → intervals.icu → Athletica.ai).
I thought it was coming over in the FIT files, I totally forgot about the connection settings. Unticking the ‘daily health stats’ settings inside Garmin connect website for Athletica, has allowed the correct values from intervals to stick.
