I am wondering why does Athletica give no raceplans? There is also no feedback about races. It would be nice. Thank you.
Thanks @Albert … this is definitely on our radar. I’ll be working with @Andrea to deliver a nice UX around this in the future. Andrea’s Workout Reserve will be involved too.
Dear @Albert , thank you for this. You brought up two interesting items:
- Race plans
- Race analysis
Can you please expand on the first? How do you envision it? What do you need, and how would you like Athletica to deliver it?
I would like to see pace/power and heartrate zone for my race/distance. The same like you make a workout in Athletica. May be you can add a bit information about the good mindset. After the race you can give feedback about the race. How did I stay in my zones and what can I improve.
Interesting! I have already used the zone description and the workout reserve field. These are excellent guidance already, IMO.
I understand some platforms provide a complete power plan for specific races, but I never tried that.
Regarding the feedback, the AI does not seem to know (have the context) that it was a race day and provide workout feedback. By giving the race context to the AI, it shall be able to get better comment.
I second this suggestion, I missed having any kind of guidance as to how to pace my race. I don’t even know what pace Athletica thinks I can hold for my race distance of a half marathon, atm my critical pace in the running pace profile chart is exactly the pace I did in my first race, but that’s also the critical pace for 2 hrs which I doubt I could manage.
