I have a power meter on my road/gravel bike but do not on my mountain bike. Is there a way to only input HR data from those rides as the power data is not accurate?
I don’t believe it will as it won’t be on the data file that gets sent to Athletica.
Attached is a screen shot of my MTB ride today that lists a power. Just not sure of where that is coming from with out a power meter.
Just coming back to this… I don’t have a power meter at the moment and the above is correct, Athletica is taking the predicted power from Strava… Which looks like it is about 20w lower than it should be.
It means my load for long bike rides is significantly lower than it should be, even though my HR compliance is almost spot on.
Is there anyway of changing this?
I have the same issue as my TT bike doesnt have power pedals. I usually tell my AI coach that the predicted power is too low based on my power average from previous rides and advise I didnt have power pedals. I have also manually deleted the predicted power and all seemed ok. I am not sure what the best practice is for this.
Yeah the coach comments are fine once I mention I don’t have a power meter, but the compliance is well out.
Just don’t want it affecting future rides if it thinks I’ve gone easy
I’m not sure that’s the best solution but.. you could try to manually enter it.
Sorry about the silence on this one.
Are you all importing your data from Strava? I am not that familiar with Strava settings, but if Stava is estimating power, could you please try to find setting where you can turn it off. Otherwise, I am not sure what we can do from our end here.
Please have a look and report back?
