I have a connection to Strava to upload workouts into Athletica. I am only using it for on water rowing workouts to get my Nielsen Kellerman (NK) stroke coach sessions (on water) into Athletica. The NK sessions capture power, force, work, and a host of others rowing specific metrics provided by NK’s Empower oarlock (powered meter).
The Athletica log shows that the session is imported but I do not see it in my daily sessions completed. I also uploaded a .FIT file directly from the NK workout log and got the same result. Athletica sent an email saying the file was processed but it does not show in my daily sessions.
Ultimately, I am trying to get my NK sessions with all of the power stats for on water rowing into Athletica. This will close the gap in Athletica’s capture of power for on water rowing workouts.
Is Athletica planning to add a connection to NK’s Link logbook? That would be ideal! NK’s stroke coach is the standard for capturing on water rowing sessions
are you using the manual import function by any chance?
The best way to manually upload workouts from other devices that are not directly connected is to create a rowing/cycling/running (or other) workout, open it and use the Upload .fit file.
Do not use “import data” in settings- that’s for bringing large historical data into the platform in .zip file format
Do not use “attach file” via workout menu (top right three dots) as this will only attach a file and not read it.
We do not currently have NK Link logbook in our roadmap - please request here: About the Feature Requests category
I disconnected the connection and re-established it and it is working now. I was able to import from Strava and it is showing in my sessions! Data flow goes from NK stroke coach => NK Link logbook => Strava => Athletica.ai. Whew! But it seems to be working now. Thanks for your helpful reply. I will keep your feedback in mind regarding future uploads. I will also submit a request to add an integration for NK’s Link logbook.
