Avoid planning multiple sessions (of same sport)

Good morning

I am quite new to athletica. I like the concept & app so far. Currently, my plan includes multiple days with two run sessions. Due to life constraints, I can not do two individual session but want to do one longer one (I already set the total time per day I am available). Is ther an option to tell athletica to only schedule a maximum of one session per sport type per day?
Thanks for your help!

I have the same question, for later on in my plan. For a marathon training plan I’d expect to see some 18 mile runs sprinkled in, but some weeks have an 11 mile and a 7 mile run on the same day. Two separate sessions? Combine them?

@Philipp_Ko @dragonrunner the ability to merge double run sessions into one isn’t yet available but I’ve added this to a development request. Indeed you can just merge the sessions yourself. Also you can check out the ‘duration’ tab on the Workout Wizard that might me close to the combined duration you’re after.
Also @dragonrunner remember that Athletica is an adaptive and not a static plan system so your runs are likely to get longer as you continue to train with Athletica - they just don’t show that way in the beginning.

Thanks @Prof! I’m just curious why the distance I’d expect is there, but it’s split into two. Is it actually expecting two separate workouts the way the plan is written?

Yes - double run days are a common run performance enhancement strategy. Enhances the signals for muscular adaptation but controls better the load.
