Concerns i'm not doing enough

Looking through my plan in the coming months I would expect a longer ride then 3 hours when training for a full ironman. Will the AI adapt this to be longer as a get fitter?

Hi @FlaayZ … indeed… one of the most asked questions on the Forum. Put in the work and plan will adapt.

In addition to what Prof says, here’s a couple of more things to consider:
One, the time of the long ride and long run is dependent on your total time available.
Two, doing the long runs we traditionally hear about prior to an IM may not be great for your training since there is so much recovery that is required after the run. Prof has said in the Athlete’s Compass podcast that simply stringing together consistent workouts from Athletica will bring the most training adaptations.
Three, you can always extend your rides on a given long aerobic endurance day. So if you have time, you can extend a three-hour ride to four hours, given that you’re properly fueled and have the ride experience.
