Connection Request - Zwift

I have to admit to trialling 2 ai coaching platforms at the same time (Athletica AI & humanGO)…one very useful feature with humanGO is that if I am scheduled a bike trainer workout, that workout syncs with and appears in Zwift so all I have to do is click on it and Zwift ERG mode tells me what to do.

I’m not going to choose a training platform purely due to this but it’s definitely a very convenient feature - is Zwift integration/connection on your dev roadmap?

thanks!

Hello,
Thanks for transparency. Of course you choose whichever fits your needs the best.
We have previously enquired a connection with Zwift without any luck from their side …
We have an awesome partnership with Velocity which you may find fun, engaging and helpful especially if you join the live sessions with us! Plus it’s much more affordable than Zwift

Thanks for the very quick reply @Marjaana - strange that Zwift are unable to help with that connection if other platforms have it. I’m happy with Zwift as there’s lots of functionality I use and am already a paid subscriber so ideally I wouldn’t have another trainer platform to deal with.

It’s been a while we had contact with them but were told basically we were too small of a fish.
So we partnered up with the awesome folks from Velocity!

You’re able to do this through Intervals.ICU. Athletica can push upcoming workouts there, and then you can integrate that with Zwift and have them pulled in. Only downside I’ve found is that the prescriptions aren’t ranges, but specific numbers that are usually smack in the middle. If you’ve got your zones lined up across Zwift and Athletica you can turn off erg mode and use the prescription as a guide to which zone you should be in. You can turn down the incline / decline affect in Zwift to make it easier to follow along without relying on erg mode.

@euro74runner I actually use both Zwift and Velocity for my training with Athletica. For the Athletica HIIT 30/30s and 20/40s we meet up virtually and chat to a physical person on a video link. The other Athletica sessions, I use the Zwift free ride and carry out the prescription as planned so nothing really changed. When I used Training Peaks previously my workouts synced with Zwift, but I dont feel I have lost anything by using Athletica in this way, but its what you like best. Good luck with your training.

Honestly it’s me being lazy and half-asleep.

I typically do weekday trainer sessions at 6am before preparing children for school and I love not having to engage my brain.

I just fire up Zwift and it’s there and ready for me and I just follow the prescribed work on the screen.

If you ever get tired of Zwift, make sure to check out Biketerra

Real-world routes, low cost (or free tier w/ limited routes), and has workouts + direct Athletica integration.

Hi,

I find this stange. For example AI Endurance which looks to be a “small fish” as well was able to integrate with Zwift.

Thanks

Rui

AI Endurance isn’t directly integrated. You can either do it via intervals.icu, TrainingPeaks, or download the ZWO files for rides and runs.

Fair enough. But there are other examples. E.g. Xert, TriDot and HumanGo:
