I tried the new feature announced today via newsletter, and as I use Athletica only for running, I wanted to adjust the schedule to have a strength session on Wednesday as this matches perfectly with my fitness group I am in.
But while saving I get the following error “If defining “swim” time constraints you must set swim threshold speed.”
The black box around each sport indicates that you are letting the AI chose whether or not to schedule that sport. So the AI is asking for information on all sports you are allowing it to schedule.
If you want to exclude swimming, and probably rowing as well, click the swimming and rowing boxes until they turn grey.
Hi @np10,
I went to check out your plan and settings and your swim is showing to let Athletica prescribe this so currently it looks correct to me. Please note that the prescription isn’t instant and requires time for the AI number crunching to come back and lay down the optimized plan.
Hi, If I can’t save without the error it’s normal that it appears as it was by default..
I can’t edit to just have cycling from Monday to Friday and Sunday.. When I try to save as I showed in the first image, an error appears about swimming.. And I don’t even have anything to do with swimming and it’s excluded. Just don’t let it save..
Okay thanks for clarifying @np10 … I was able bypass and save your plan. I understand the issue and we’ll work towards improving that experience in the future.
Hi @np10 . Reviewing your plan, I note that the AI has achieved an output that obeys your constraints. While I appreciate that its common to expect an immediate output, the reality with our system is that the computations are complex and the final output of your optimized plan still takes up to many hours until its completed. So users need to set their constraints, and come back to their plan at a later time.
