Editable sessions feedback

Great feature editing sessions, will play with this in the coming days.

But it is a little tricky when viewing the calendar on a phone, scrolling the screen often edits a session inadvertently, and you are left wondering what you changed when the pop up comes saying it changed.

Cheers Andre.

Thanks @AMNZ. We have made some tweaks to the mobile UX that may improve, however we recommend using a desktop for editing sessions for best UX.

Excellent , I’ve just added 2 hours to tomorrow’s aerobic endurance and removed Sunday’s aerobic endurance 1 hour 57 session. Edited on iPad and that was fine for this simple edit.

I’ve noted on my iPad that it goes into edit mode when I’ve just tapped the power or HR symbol to check the ranges before doing a workout. A suggestion would be to lock edit on touch screens by default. Then have an icon similar to the padlock that locks a session (from AI adjustment) , to lock editing the session. Then editing a session on touch becomes, tap the edit unlock icon then edit as it is now.

Hi, how do you actually edit sessions? When I go to edit in the drop down menu I can only edit the description. When I tap the power or heart rate symbols nothing happens. What am I missing?

Hi @Jeroen . Editable sessions are currently only available to beta testing group but we are just about to release to everyone as we think we’ve ironed out most of the bugs… stay tuned.

I had the same issue this morning.

Alternatively, it would be useful to be able to revert an edited session back to an adaptive session.

I’m accidentally editing more sessions when scrolling through my training week on my iPad. I think the problem is that being left handed my scrolling finger is the left side of the screen. Thus my finger can often end up tapping the session details and updating them before I know what it’s done.

Fellow lefty!! On my phone I can’t tap on the power or HR icon to view targets. I get edit session instead.

I think an option to lock the edit by default on touch needed even if a user preference.

I just experienced the same inadvertent editing. I was scrolling though my upcoming session on my iPad and accidentally dragged segments of my cycling session out of its original order. For example my Cool down is now listed ahead of my Warm up. I realized my error and was able to drag it back to its correct position. I did this again to a swimming session within center and could not recall where it was in its original position.
