As I wrapped up some last-minute Christmas shopping, I had the chance to run into an Athletica athlete in town. It got me reflecting on how far we’ve come since our launch almost four years ago. Before that, my co-founder Steve and I began building the concept back in 2015. The progress is undeniable—Athletica today is a far superior product compared to the early years. It’s remarkable to think that we’re nearing a decade since this journey began.
Athletica has always been, and continues to be, a passion project. Our vision was to create a product that seamlessly combines coaching and sports science principles with cutting-edge AI. Over time, like-minded individuals have joined us on this mission, and they continue to expand and enhance Athletica today. What’s even more inspiring is how many of you—our ambassadors, athletes, and community members—have shared this mission, offering constructive feedback to help us grow. We listen as much as we can and strive to implement changes as quickly as possible. While we’re not perfect and can’t always meet every expectation, please know that we’re deeply committed to improving and doing our best.
The Christmas season is a time for reflection, and the emotion that comes to the forefront for me is gratitude. Beyond family and friends, I’m profoundly thankful for everyone who has contributed to Athletica—our team and everyone here on this Forum. Your support means the world to us.
