How do you log your gym session through garmin?

What do people do to ensure Athletica knows you completed a gym workout?
I relie on the function that sends all scheduled workouts too my watch. However it does not send the gym sessions it recommends. Athletica then gets upset with me for missing my gym workout when i infact didn’t. I also cant seem to find a way to manually say it was completed. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.!

I just open the strength activity, and record however many minutes it is. This should then sync with Garmin and Athletica.

Open the workout, then click on the three vertical dots. Select Add Data and add the time
