I don't believe in HRV. Change my mind ;)

Hi all!

Athletica reminded me on the importance of tracking HRV these days.

I’d rather have a simple daily questionnaire on how I feel tbh.

But… Regarding HRV. Imho nightly HRV just measures sleep quality and morning HRV just measures the state I wake up in which can be calm or not but is sleep related and doesn’t define my day.

Also nightly HRV graphs seem erratic to me. Simply taking an average out of this data mess doesn’t look like an exact science to me.

Additionally tracking HRV and let it influence my day stresses me, which by definition would decrease HRV.

But I’m open to be convinced. I have a Garmin that can track it, stopped it a year ago or so after a few years of tracking sleep and recovery, which only added stress but didn’t have any benefits to me, but maybe Athletica would benefit from the data?
