I would like to know if I can increase my marathon taper to 3 weeks from the 2 it’s programmed at the moment.
Also if I could change to a 2 week build followed by 1 week recovery for the duration of the plan.
I find 3 weeks straight of build to be too much and I seem to progress better with just the 2. Also my last marathon I had a 2 week taper and while it went well, I didn’t feel like I was really peaking on the day and could have done with a bit more time.
I haven’t been able to find a way to tweak these in settings
Hi everyone. I asked @Pascalion to post here as I thought it might be important for all to consider so thanks very much @Pascalion for taking the extra step.
I think this will be an important feature that we build out in coming logic versions (cc @Andrea@Stef ) and to be clear there is no direct way to do this at present.
However for now, there’s still quite a bit of flexibility within the Overview tab to customize the loading to your individual preference. For example, just go to any microcycle date (right hand column) and click on the date. Then you will see a window pop-up. Here you will then have the option to 1) swap with any other existing week in your plan, 2) change it to a recovery week (similar to taper), or 3) change to a base week (also similar to a taper week).
