Newbie questions: weekly distance totals, until lap press, saved workouts

Hi all- checked the forum and not seeing a few questions I have as I have trialed (and now subscribed) for the last 2+ weeks. Hoping for help :grinning:

  1. is there a way to see distance/time totals by week? It would be great if the plan overview contained this
  2. is there a way to edit the workout pushed to garmin instead of the workout being locked? For instance, instead of a set 10 minute warmup, it is much preferred to have ‘until lap press’. If you know you need to get out of a neighborhood or up a big hill, this creates much needed flexibility before hitting a workout. Same with cooldown, would prefer to have ‘until lap press’ as I often don’t make my end exactly set by time.
  3. is there a standard ‘library’ of workouts? It seems like you need athletica to generate for you, then save to your library in order to build a repository? If I’m now mid cycle in training, there isn’t an effective way to ‘save’ more advanced weight/strength workouts to build into schedule

Appreciate the guidance!

Hi @03.grand_cool ,

  1. At this point no, however that is one area that @Andrea and his team are working on developing. Timeline for arrival uncertain.
  2. You should be able to unlock the session in Athletica by clicking the lock symbol, then editing it. However I’m not sure how you can create the ‘until lap press’ feature. However I would never worry that much about going over or under the allotted time. Athletica simply takes the whole duration and intensity of the workout into account when calculating the load of the session. So it never actually matters if its a bit more or a bit less… that’s splitting hairs a bit.
  3. Correct - not yet a standard library that sits in your library. However, all Athletica sessions (and there are 1000s you can unlock) are within the program and anytime you see one you like, simply click on the upper right hand hamburger icon and you should be able to save that to your library for use in the future.
