Replacing scheduled training with club rides

Hey team. I have a couple of group rides that I do each week that don’t fit into the plan. Is there an easy way to account for them? I was thinking of copying last weeks activity load/max and populating it forward into future weeks?

You can create your own workout and save it to the library. Also, you can save the previous file to your library. Either way, there is a load estimation. Write back if you need further assistance.

I would do the following, as a starting point

  1. Join the beta program
  2. Set your time availability on the group riding days to zero. This should prevent Athletica scheduling workouts on those days (I think)
  3. Save the group rides into your library with the expected intensities and durations . A mix from tempo to Threshold? But mostly aim to get the load approx right based on previous group rides.
  4. Add those group ride workouts into your calendar and make sure the padlock is locked.

You might need to additionally adjust your maximum weekly availability to get the right amount of volume range for your needs, including the group rides.

You might want to remove a tempo or Threshold session to get the right balance of intensity each week.
