I have 2 races scheduled: a half-IM (B race) and a full (A race). The overall plan all the way towards my A race looks ok. But the weeks leading into my B race show that my form/TSB will reach peak performance readiness AFTER my race. Any insights into how to fix this and make sure I peak right before race day and not AFTER even though this is a B race?
Likely due to the fact that you’re pretty deep into fatigue at the moment and it will take some time to dig yourself out. Once your B race is over, you have a recovery week and naturally your form will come up then. I would consider adding another recovery week prior your B race.
