Performance Potential box

Hello, I have had a look, but cannot find a full explanation of the numbers in the Performance Potential box on the Training Plan page.
I have attached pictures of mine on a finished week (today) and an yet to be started week (next week).
What are these numbers telling me, I am assuming the bolded is the current numbers as of today and the others are expected by the end of the week?
I can’t work out why the numbers don’t match in the completed week as I appear to have hit all the targets. Also if I change or delete workouts in a week does it change the performance potential numbers or do the numbers show the pre-modified expectations?
Thanks for any help

Hey there. Sorry for a late reply.

Yes, bolder are current load number and the other numbers are end of week target number.

Load is calculated using modified TRIMP model by Bannister. Check the help & education notes for more.

It is hard to hit the actual target numbers 100% because for instance, during your aerobic session, your HR gradually increases from your resting hr to target hr. Your average distance/duration/intensity may be exactly what was prescribed but there are nuances inside the workout causing the load to be a little off. And that’s totally fine. Don’t chase numbers, chase the training 🫶🏻

I do look at the Roadmap to make sure my training plan is progressively getting me ready.

Personally I don’t pay much attention to the exact numbers, but look at the workout, aim at duration and be ready to alter it either by shortening if not feeling great, or lengthening if feeling good, and then be ok with the load number. Numbers are numbers, it’s what is in the tank that matters.

I don’t know if I answered your question or went all in on a rant. Please let me know if more questions…
