Please help me understand Moving NGP

Please see the image attached. It was a “Run of the Bike” workout in a flat road. Why Moving NGP is so different from average pace?

Dear @mlanzi thank you for your message!
I took the liberty to check your session. As far as I can see, and if I get the session right, there were slightly less than 100 meters of elevation gain in 3.6 km. As a consequence, the gradient was not super “flat” :slight_smile: That might have contributed to the increase in the NGP you see. At first glance, I would say that that’s why the NGP is higher than the average pace. :thinking: Would you agree?

Hi Andrea, where this 3.6km elevation gain comes from?
See the attached photo from the Garmin section.

100 Mt of elevation in 3.6 km distance. There might be a meaningful road gradient that can impact NGP.
Would you agree? :thinking::pray:

Ok, I think the problem is in Garmin sensor. I don’t know why it did measure 100mt of elevation. This place is a lake, you can run around the ring and it’s almost flat. See the picture below for the entire ring, it’s 11mt elevation.
