I am still in the trial period and needs to decide if I continue with Athletica AI or not.
So far, I like the product, but some little bugs/undesired features are annoying (random threshold changes, or why would a 20 min walk leads to a modification of the training plan?).
The main issue right now is that I performed an FTP test 21 hours ago. It led to a big jump in the CP (from 208W to 245W). To be fair, the initial CP (208W) was estimated based of a long ride I did 2 weeks ago, and I kinda knew my real CP would be in the 240W.
That said, despite the test done 21 hours ago, I still do not see any updated target power in the upcoming rides. Notably, I have an Aerobic Development ride in Z2 planned for Sunday Aug 17 according to the training plan that still uses the old target range (121-164W). Shouldn’t it be 146-197W to remain in Z2?
Is there a way to just refresh the plan with the newer CP?
Sometimes it can take a bit for the Ai to recognize it (can be up to a day or two), and even then may take a few rides to prove it wasn’t a fluke if that makes sense. It’s set pretty conservatively to prevent injury, but it WILL update eventually.
If it doesn’t do so quickly enough and you want to see it asap, you can go and manually update your CP in the training settings tab, and just hit save instead of generate new plan. (I’ve accidentally recreated my whole plan before, so learn from my mistakes LOL)

Unfortunately, it is already set at 247W in the training settings tab. I don’t know why this does not update automatically… It has been 48 hours now. I mean I will wait until my long ride on Sunday, but I trust that before the ride the target power changes not just for the long ride, but for the remainder of the plan. This adaptative training tool is exactly why I wanted to go with Athletica, otherwise I would just continue using the static tools I currently use.
