Re-add a session (cancelled for Altimeter Garmin problem)

Hello I deleted a running session Because having the damaged Garmin altimetric sensor this caused a high LOAD run and for this I canceled the session and wanted to load it with the correct altitude from the Garmin site. I downloaded the .fit or zip file… will I have to make the queue to have it analyzed and join it to the scheduled session?

Hello @Giuseppe85, did you try to zip the fit and to do “import data”? I think this should work if you deleted an activity to adjust the elevation data. Is this the case? Please let us know!

No…but I ve noticed Who this morning had uploaded the (corrected) session from Strava…I had added the .fit and .zip file but he hadn’t uploaded it…(maybe it takes more hours).

I also noticed that removing the connection from the Garmin and leaving only Strava does not immediately load the sessions as it did with Garmin but there

They want more hours…is it normal?

@Giuseppe85 this is odd. At least this is not what I experience. I also have the Strava connection activated without the Garmin connection (Suunto user) and Strava uploads work just fine. Please keep me posted, so I can see if I can do something about it. Also, please confirm whether uploading a zipped fit file took too long. Thanks!

Ho I just made the Garmin connection but it still hasn’t loaded either from Strava or from Garmin.

The session was a Bike ride this morning at 06:30 am; Garmin connection made at 12:00am

Regarding the addition of a .zip file from Garmin, can you confirm that I should select “Attach file” from “Session Option”?

And if I didn’t have an expected workout but wanted to add an “Unplanned” session, how could I add it?

Thank you!

Hey @Giuseppe85 thanks for the additional context.

Can you please try to click on your name on the top right corner and select “Import data” and upload over there your zipped fit file?

Many thanks for being so patient.

Ok Perfect! Andrea another (mini) bug… I noticed that only with Strava it takes a long time to give me the FEEDBACK on the session and it doesn’t load the analysis (workout reserve); while with Garmin it’s immediate!
Andrea you’re Italian? Did you work for ATHLETICA? Than you :ok_hand:
