Setting min and max hours but does not stick to it

Dear team,
I am using a mid volume (7-15 hours / week) training plan but trying to set the min and max, especially max to be set at 9 hours.

When I do this I still have parts of the program at 14+ hours. Can the maximum weekly hours objective be respected?

Thanks a lot,
Neil

Same issue for me, I have my max hours set at 10 per week but have been scheduled 15+ this week. I can move them around and delete session but would prefer the AI stay with +/- 10% of the max

Hi @neilkashishian @Wombat … our newest release ‘Daily Availability’ hopes to solve this. We are working on it and it shouldn’t be too far now.

Hi im having a problem with having 9+ hours of training in my first block of training, when i have set my max as 7 and minimum as 2 hours, and a jump from 30+ km last week to 80+ km this week.
As as health professional and think thats a crazy jump, and not really what i signed up for.
I woule prefer that the AI made a more reasonible plan when lokking at my preferences.

Is it posible to be contacted on email, to have a conversation with you, as im seeing a lot of issues right now with multiple stuff.

Best regards
Martin

Thanks @martinkahn … that’s clearly a bug and has been flagged with our dev team. Please use common sense in your training for the time being.

Hi Paul

That sounds great. As to using common sense I think as a paying member that shouldn’t be the answer.

At the moment there seems to be a lot of bugs or things that a little of. So would say I’m doing that all the time, and not really getting value for money at the moment.

The AI coach says I the following and I almost only have aerobic build sessions and very little VO2 max. Which I find weird so far from competition.

@Prof Can i change some setting to add a Vo2 max session more often, as it is a limiter ?

Hey @martinkahn
Sounds like you are on running plan, 50K ultra. awesome! When is your race? Depending how far away you are from your race, you are either in Base training or Build. During Build, you will get a number of higher intensity work, but there is no setting to add more sessions.
Also, your ability to adapt to VO2max sessions can also be dependent on your past Base training, as we have learned from [Ingvill Odden’s study] … (FINALLY: The Ultimate Way to Maximise Your HIIT Intervals - With Ingvill Odden & Prof. Paul Laursen - HiitScience)

Have a look at the Workout Reserve of your recent VO2max sessions. Are you pushing it towards 0%? Are you using short or long intervals?

It’s not always about doing more VO2max, but making sure you have the base to do them, and then executing them appropriately. Let me know if I can help you optimize your plan for you?

Hey @Marjaana
the race is september 12.
Im in build, so it makes sense. Yes i heard the podcast and was really informative, but i also left me with the question of, why not have sessions with 30 on/15 off, if the base is not there yet, to still try to push the Vo2max a bit, when in my case the AI says it need work.

You could help me with the above or tweak it so i might get a little bit, in the build or perhabs give me a guide to why the AI i doing so.

Thanks
