Hey everyone!
I have a couple of questions lately (:

Does the AI adjust your program according to your sessions feedback? For example over multiple weeks/sessions I have been stating in my feedback, to incorporate rest days/lower intensity session if I need them, based off my recovery profile & also to increase my weight session time from 30mins to 45min (as I have a personalised program that is that length). However, it never seems to actually be done, despite the AI stating it will be?

Secondly! I am starting new work involving shift work (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off) and I’m wondering if there is a way to get my program tailored to the shift cycle? So that I have bigger sessions on my days off. Tailoring my week in settings won’t really make a difference unless it was able to go with the shift cycle as its across 8 days.
Thank you!

That’s a fantastic question! I will put in our list for discussion.
To start a convo, typically we talk about context, right.. is time unlimited? Go longer but lower intensity. Are you talking about hiit? Go until you still fell like you have two in the tank. Are you thinking about increasing your long run? Work with general rule of thumb 5-10% increases..
That’s fantastic you feeling like dynamite
enjoy
For me, these are typically Z2 runs. I set them up through Garmin so that the main set ends when I press the lap button. So if Athletica prescribes a 40 minute Z2 run and I’m feeling good I may keep going for 60 or 80 minutes (never more than 2x the prescribed length). But I have no idea how this might impact the plan that Athletica has laid out.
A week or two ago I probably would have used it for my 30/30 session. I had a string of weeks with 1 set, 7 interval 30/30s and was feeling strong enough at the end of the set that I would have like to increase it to 8 or 9 intervals. I didn’t because I figured that Athletica knew more than I did about managing load around these key sessions. That won’t be a problem next week as I already see 2 sets of 6 intervals prescribed. I don’t think I’ll be increasing that one
