Short Athletica Success Story :)

Just a quick word to highlight and appreciate the Athletica team for pulling a great platform together, answering my questions here on the forum, and improving their app based on the feedback the community provides!

I switched to Athletica at the end of 2024 after a 2 year stint with a excellent coaching group, but due to wanting some more flexibility, the associated cost, family commitments, and missing the opportunity to learn about the “why’s” behind each session and my bigger goals, I decided to take a break.

While I had some reservations, and lots of changing and “replanning” (from my side due to curiosity) with the platform, my training logs and the data was conclusively positive. I have had riding and running personal bests during the last 5 months of training, which culminated with a 70.3 race over the weekend in Chattanooga (albeit the swim was cancelled) - I am 100% certain that it was my best 70.3 to date and also was my best finish in the last 4 odd years of training and racing.

I look forward to planning and going through another training block with Athletica, and can only recommend it to others in a similar position or have any hesitations about the tool working.

Thanks @Prof and @Marjaana

Love this! Seeing similar results in my performance, glad it’s working so well for you and congrats on Chattanooga! (PS. I also have a 69.1 under my belt - canceled swims are so disappointing! Glad you stuck with it and finished stronger regardless.)
