Thanks again @anilakarsu … adjusted. Please keep those coming!
They are still there though. Should I expect any change for this workout or the next workouts?
should be next workout @anilakarsu
Same issue here. Switched a run to a swim with the workout wizard because of back injury and the swim now has 300m as 2 p/p and 2 pull and 1 swim?
Hey @ironben,
I read these as 100m pull and paddle, 100m paddles only, and the last 100 swim. If it was 500m then I would do 200m pull & paddle, 200m paddles only and 100 swim. You’d want to create strength endurance effect and then ease up and feel the water and return to your normal swimming for the last 100m.

I’m getting this in my workouts as well;
MS 4 x 300m
- 300m as 2 p/p, 2 pull and 1 swim
- 30″ rest
Will aim to fix that @egon. For now please do that one as 100m p/p (pull/paddles), 100m pull and 1 swim (free)
Bit of confusion here for me too , It says “continuous 1.5km…” but there are rests in between…
What should I do?
Love this set. I definitely need that 30s after each all outs but agree maybe the wording is a little misleading.
Would “5x300m as… “ be clearer ?
Yes could be a solution…or I would take out the "continuously " word that is misleading .
Anyway need me too that 30 sec
I’m getting the same 2 p/p and 2 pull and 1 swim in the Middle Distance Mid Volume plan.
Unrelated, but I’m a little unclear what “middle distance” means. This seems appropriate for my 70.3, but I’m not 100% sure.
Middle distance = 70.3 IM you got it
I’m new to Athletica and honestly am quite confused by the swim workout terminologies. For example:
I’m not sure what s/p/s/p means or L3b, L4, L5 or ch. A separate workout also references “catch up”. Tried looking for a glossary or a FAQ but couldn’t find one.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Also, I wasn’t sure if I should create a new topic or use an existing one. Please let me know if I should create a new one instead!
s=swim
p=pull
L3b = long distance pace (check your swim pace chart for paces) hover/click over the “speedometer sign”
L4 = level 4
L 5 = level 5 (again your swim pace chart will tell you what pace to aim at
ch = chest.
Hope this helps
Hi,
Thanks a lot for the explanations. Can I ask what “chest” refers to?
I beoueve “ch” is “choice”, i.e. choice of stroke.
Thanks for this! Yes, ch is choice, in my head this always means chest/breast stroke
Got it! Thanks at lot!
Hi @Prof , I have the same issue in my plan:
I figured its probably meant:
4 times 400m out of which: 2x pullboy and paddles, 1x just pullboy and 1x no equipment
