Auto adaptive or do I have to manually change?

Hi. Have used almost all other tools. Curios  trying to learn all needs insights to best use the platform. Have read many forum and blog posts.

  1. Will the plan auto update according to what I actually do? Or do I manually have to change and click update?
  2. Today I did a ramp test that I had planned myself. That is in my Garmin but not in Athletica? Why not?

For question 1, the plan will recognize what you actually did and respond accordingly - it might give some constructive feedback that what you did was either unplanned or not in compliance with what it called for, but it will still recognize what you did and the load, and optimize going forward from there.

As for your second question, the platform is having some major infrastructure issues as it recovers from a full outage last week, and is only partially back up so not much syncing is happening right now, unfortunately. If you mean you did a workout that wasn’t called for in Athletica, and it hasn’t synced yet from Garmin to Athletica, it could be in the backlog of workouts that are queued but haven’t synced. If it continues after the platform is back up, you may need to disconnect and reconnect to Garmin to get a forced import. It also could have synced to another workout if you had a planned cycle that day, in which case you’ll see the AI saying “nice, but…” as mentioned in the first answer.

Is that what you mean by it’s not in Athletica? If not, a couple other possibilities come to mind, let me know what you mean and we can go from there.

Understood. And thanks  life isn’t always going according to plan. And would be great if it works as you describe. Will continue learn and understand the platform. And yes, realized from other posts that there was a major issue which affected my calendar and training didn’t sync from Garmin.
