Can I specify a weekly rest day on mid volume

I have just signed up on the trial and think the product is great, will definitely be using it. I had set my plan to mid volume which looked good but was concerned about the lack of rest days. I read all the posts in here related to rest days and the solution seemed to be to go down to low volume. I did this and on my overview it has a warning that my fitness is too high for mid volume.

So my question is, is it possible to remain on mid volume and have it put in a weekly rest day / also is it possible to choose which day that is as I would rather it be on a sat/sunday than the monday which is I think the reovery day from what I can work out.

Thanks!

If you are signed up and on beta that is possible. Set the day you want as a rest day to have zero availability. That seems to do the job on my mid volume anyway.

For the trial, move the workout off the day you want as rest.

The other option is to treat the weekly recovery day as a rest day.

I have sign up, how do I know if I am on the beta? Have clicked around and can not find a way to set a non availability day

you have to ask @Prof kindly to add you to beta

The easiest solution is to determine your rest day and

  1. delete any workouts on that day
  2. use Workout Wizard and “injury” tab and choose yoga or walk for that day. I rarely take a true day off and most days do at least a short walk or some mobility. 351 days of movement last year
  3. move things around to get a rest day, but be mindful of added load on subsequent days.

Hope this helps you get started

Thank you @Marjaana !! I really like the idea that the rest days are calculated within the plan rather than me randomly choosing so will try and get on the beta!

@Prof Please may I be added to the beta :innocent:
