Different power data across platforms

After the AI feedback this evening, which I am kind of ignoring at the minute, I noticed my power profiles are different across 3 platforms. Zwift, Garmin and Athletica. I was wondering why the AI was saying I wasnt hitting my Zone so looked into why this was. In Athletica I wasn’t hitting the correct Zone, but in Garmin and Zwift I was fine. Why is the data giving me different power numbers, therefore my sessions look like I am not achieving the prescribed power?

Hi @KCamp  it could that Athletica’s analysis chart is showing your “smoothed” data. That’s how it looks like to me at least. If you look at the analysis window, bottom left there is a line written about data smoothing. Disable and check again

If power is coming from same power meter, it should all be the same but the platform all have their own data smoothing process in place so unless large difference it should be fine.

Make sure your Garmin connect displays power zones according to athletica zones  in your user settings…

Best, MJ

Thanks @Marjaana . Thats it now! Makes a bit more sense. I will give Garmin Zone data a check too. Thought I was getting weaker rather than stronger which didn’t make any sense! Phew
