I keep getting new sessions all of a sudden, so after finishing what was originally my only session for the day, I’ll check the app and there’s an extra session tacked on the same day. This has been happening a lot recently
I get them when I don’t hit the projected load of a workout. Which I understand, but also there is normally a reason I didn’t hit the numbers (time limited or fatigue), so I definitely cannot do a whole extra workout.
It would surely be better to spread that “catch up” load across the remaining workouts for the week.

I been noticing this in the past week also, random sessions appearing or duplicate sessions.
