I’d just delete that workout (Saturday) in the taper week right before raceday. But this is probably something that shouldn’t be generated by the AI…

Are you sure you’re in the right account? My race is in April and your screenshot shows a race in March…
That’s just the template for the 1/2 Marathon Mid Volume Taper 1 week, not your account or plan.
The AI probably starts by assigning templates to each week, the first few being base weeks, then a recovery week, then some number of cycles of build weeks and recovery weeks, and finally a taper week. Once each week has a template it probably assigns the workouts from that template and then assesses hours and load and looks at constraints or modality distribution settings and iterating over the plan until it has something that it likes.
So he’s just showing that the default taper week for the mid volume plan you started with does not have a workout the day before the race, but something in the constraints code put it there to meet some other expectations such as number of hours or load for the week…
