Modifying the Template Before it is Applied

I believe that when a plan is generated it uses templates to build the plan and then the AI uses your user settings to adjust it. I believe that there may be a couple of templates: a template for the sequencing of weeks and a template for workouts within each type of week. I’d love to be able to move workouts around in the week template before they are applied.

Why? I find myself making the same changes nearly every week. For example, my Strength Endurance workouts seem to occur on Tuesdays and are on the longer side. My Threshold workouts are usually short in comparison and occur on Saturdays. I usually swap these. I usually move my Strength & Conditioning sessions (typically on Friday) to Thursday to coincide with my HIIT sessions.

Instead of going through 8, 12, or even 16 weeks of a plan it would be nice to go through the 3 or 4 weekly templates before it’s generated and move some of this around…

Seconded - I like my HIIT sessions on Thursdays due to often riding with Velocity, and my swim to be M/W due to local Masters schedule. You can set some constraints / parameters, but the base plans don’t seem to be as flexible with things like setting HIIT on certain days. Thanks for posting and fairing it as a feature request :slight_smile:

Great thinking and definitely something that would make the training plans even more individualized.
Not sure how big of a lift this would be for the team (@prof @mark), but I can see how much weekly moving things around this would eliminate :mechanical_arm::oncoming_fist:t2::heart:
