“Also, check that your Garmin zones are matching with your Athletica account and change in your Garmin connect accordingly.”
How would I do this? The HR and Power zones can be changed in Garmin, but Athletica only show Critical Pace/Power and Critical HR. How do I use those values in Garmin?

Hey,
you have to go to Garmin device User settings and change there to closely match your Athletica zones. I wish there was a simpler “push to Garmin” function, but that’s the best way I’ve figured out to make sure Garmin and Athletica zones match. Critical pace/power replace LT and FTP in Garmin, so use those as lower end of your Zone 4 in Garmin. Let me know how you go, please.

Oh, OK, thanks. I knew where to put it in (from when I was using the 8020 system) but I didn’t know what numbers corresponded with what from the Athletica metrics.
The cycling one worked fine and just accepted the Critical Power in LT and FTP slots. However, the Running one is giving me an error. I’m guessing this Critical Pace might be wrong if it is meant to be under Max HR. (see attached screenshots)
Any suggestions on what to do? Thanks!

Looks like you are trying to insert your critical pace time in seconds, not your heart rate.

Thanks, but I also tried inputting the Critical HR numbers and got an error. There, the Critical HR is 184 and Garmin says my Max Heart HR is 184, so I need to put in a number lower than the Max HR.
An I taking the heart rat from the correct place? (The Run Critical HR)

Hey @kenny_in_motion
Sorry you are having trouble with this. Critical HR should correspond to your Lactate Threshold in Garmin. If your Max HR is 184 in Garmin it definitely needs to be lower than that. Did you do your 5K time trial test when you started with Athletica? Are you using chest strap for HR or is it optical wrist based measure?

Hi, @Marjaana
I did a 5km time trial on Aug 25. The compliance says it is good but when I checked zones, the time spent in Z4 was lower than planned. I think I just used watch HR. Would it help if I did another one with my chest strap?
Thanks.

@Marjaana where are the zone 1-5 equivalents stored in athletica? Appreciate the insight!

Hey! Welcome to the Athletica forum!
Do you mean where you find your run zones? Tap on that plan menu on top right corner.
There you can view your pace/power and heart rate zones.
Let me know if any questions.
